CowPony Leather started as a hobby- repairing tore up harness and head stalls.
Originally from NorthWestern Montana, I grew up around 4H, FFA, ranching and rodeo- all of which I still strongly support. I spent time working for the Montana Pro Rodeo circuit and then took an opportunity in Arizona. I stayed in Arizona MUCH longer than I had expected but returned to Montana working as a clothing and footwear buyer for a group of Big R stores. Now over fifteen years later, I am living in Texas, married to an actual, dyed in the wool Texan. Along with my husband, I also have the coolest step son, dogs, horses, donkeys, and SEVERAL pet steers (the most impractical, expensive, and useless pet you could have, I think). My life now is pretty awesome, made up of days spent helping in the office at my husbands mechanical contracting operation and working in my leather shop. Any spare time I am not in the shop, I am at a team roping, in Colorado, and more recently I took an open level head horse, and am learning to JUMP on him.
I am a hardcore believer in God and Country (truth be told we could use a lot more God in our Country) and firmly support our military- both past and present. Without them and their sacrifices, none of this would be possible.
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and contact me for any questions.
